Discounts
Slotted rewards your returning clients automatically with a Bulk Spend Discount. There are no promo codes to share or track — the right tier applies on its own based on what each client has spent with you.
How it works
Set up tiers at Settings → Discounts. Each tier has:
- Tier name — for example "Basic, Silver, Gold…".
- Spend threshold — the dollar amount of paid bookings that qualifies a client for the tier.
- Discount — a percentage from 1 to 100.
Each client's spend is measured over a year-long window that starts on the anniversary of their first paid booking and resets each year. When a client's paid bookings cross a threshold, the tier applies to their next booking — the booking that earns the tier is never discounted retroactively.
Example
You set two tiers: Silver at $500 spend → 5% off, and Gold at $2,000 spend → 10% off.
- A client books a $600 session. The spend window now totals $600 — Silver is earned.
- Their next booking gets 5% off automatically at checkout.
Seasonal discounts
For a temporary, date-based discount instead, use seasonal pricing with a negative price change — for example, a pricing period with Price change type: Percentage and a price change of -20 lowers the service's price by 20% for appointments in that period. Other discounts are applied afterward.
