Add-ons

Add-ons are optional extras a customer can add on top of a booking: a lighting kit, a backdrop, an extra hour of setup — anything that augments a booking without being a booking of its own.

Service or add-on?

If the extra changes what the booking is, make it a separate service. If it is an optional extra on top of a booking, make it an add-on.

Create an add-on

Go to Settings → Add-ons and choose New Add-on. The add-on drawer asks for:

  • Name — how the add-on appears to customers.
  • Image — optional photo.
  • Assigned space — the space the add-on belongs to.
  • Bookable datesAlways bookable, or a Date range with from/until dates.
  • VisibilityAlways visible, or Hidden until a date is set with a visible-from/until window.
  • Price — a flat per-unit price. Customers can add multiple units of an add-on when stock allows.
  • Extra time — minutes the add-on appends to the booking.
  • Advance notice — hours of lead time required before the booking start.
  • Public tag — an optional short label shown on the public booking page (for example "Christmas").

How add-ons reach customers

Add-ons are business-wide: an active add-on is automatically available on all of your active services. You don't attach them per service.

On the booking page, customers see the add-on selector with the per-unit price, stock ("N items in stock"), and extra time ("+ Adds N min"). Their selections appear in the booking summary as line items before payment.

Managing add-ons

  • Deactivate an add-on to remove it from the booking page while keeping its history.
  • Reactivate it to bring it back.
  • Delete removes it permanently — existing bookings that referenced the add-on are preserved, but it can no longer be selected.

The same table shows each add-on's assigned space, date range, status, and price, with filters by name, space, and status.
