Creating & managing locations
A location is a physical place your business operates from — a studio, a salon, a venue. Each location owns its own spaces, equipment, and staff, and customers pick a location first on your booking page.
The locations list
Dashboard → Locations shows a card per location: its photo, name, and address, plus an expandable list of its spaces with the next five available slots, hourly price, and a Book button that starts a dashboard booking in that space. Cards also summarize the location's equipment. Filters let you narrow by state and city.
Staff can view locations; only Owners and Managers can create or edit them.
Create a location
Choose New Location for the two-step editor:
Step 1 — Location details
- Photo — shown on the location card and your booking page.
- Name — how the location appears to customers.
- Address — start typing and Google autocomplete fills in the city, ZIP, state, and country.
- Address line 2 — unit, suite, or notes.
- Privacy — tick "Hide exact address until booked" and enter a public-area label such as "Montrose area, Houston" (the Suggest neighborhood button proposes one from the address). Your exact address stays hidden until a customer books — they receive it in their booking confirmation.
- City, ZIP, country, state — the state dropdown lists US states and is only used for US addresses.
Step 2 — Spaces — see Spaces within a location.
Location detail page
Open a location card to see its tabs:
- Spaces — the spaces at this location.
- Bookings — a calendar of the location's bookings across its spaces, including whether each client's waiver is signed.
- Staff — team members assigned here.
- Services — services offered at this location.
- Equipment — the location's equipment with availability toggles.
Edit and delete
The pencil icon reopens the editor. Deleting a location is permanent — Slotted asks "Delete {name}? This cannot be undone."
Your plan sets how many locations you can have. The Independent plan includes one location — if you need more, Slotted prompts you to upgrade to Studio.
What customers see
If you have more than one location, customers start your booking page with "Choose a location", pick a space there, and then continue to services and time. Before booking they see the public-area label, not the exact address — the full address is in their confirmation.
