Calendar

The calendar is your operational view of every space and every booking. Open it from Dashboard → Calendar.

Views

Switch between Day, Week, and Month views with the tabs at the top, and use Today and the arrows to move through time.

The day and week views show one horizontal timeline per space, so you can see at a glance which space is busy and when. Bookings that aren't tied to a space appear in an unassigned row. Use the location switcher to scope the calendar to a single location, or view All locations at once.

Each booking block shows its status — Pending, Confirmed, Checked in, or Completed — along with a Signed / Not signed badge when a waiver applies.

Create a booking manually

Choose New booking to add a booking yourself (for example, for a walk-in or phone booking). The form asks for the customer's first and last name, email, and phone; the service and space; start time and duration (default 60 minutes); guest count; internal notes; and any add-ons.

If the time conflicts with an existing booking, or the service can't run in the chosen space, the form tells you before anything is saved. Manual bookings are created as Confirmed.

Edit a booking

Editing happens in the booking details drawer, not on the grid itself. From the bookings list or by opening a booking on the calendar, you can change the booking, add internal notes, resend a waiver, or cancel. See Managing bookings for everything you can do there.

Sync your Google Calendar

Connect your external calendars at Settings → Calendar Sync so Slotted's availability stays aligned with your real busy times.

  • Per staff member — each staff member connects their own Google Calendar. Slotted reads busy events (up to 90 days ahead) and shows them as Calendar busy blocks, so those times are never offered to customers.
  • Outbound — pending and confirmed bookings are pushed to the staff member's Google Calendar as events with the booking details and a "Manage in Slotted" link.
  • Rescheduling in Google — moving a Slotted booking's Google event reschedules the booking in Slotted. If the move can't be honored (a conflict or a duration change), the Google event snaps back to the time in Slotted, which stays the source of truth.
  • Cancelling — cancelling in Slotted removes the Google event. Deleting an event in Google never cancels a paid booking; it only clears the busy block.
Connection health

Each connection shows a status — connected, syncing, expired, revoked, or error — and can be paused with its sync toggle. If a connection expires (for example, the staff member changed their Google password), Slotted flags it so you can reconnect.
