Calendar sync

Connect Google Calendar to keep Slotted bookings and real busy times aligned across your workspace — you stay bookable when you're free, and blocked when you're not.

Find it at Settings → Calendar Sync (Owner or Manager role). Each team member's Google Calendar connects to their own staff record, so the page shows the connection for the signed-in user — have each active team member connect their own account.

Coming soon

Microsoft Outlook sync is on the way — it appears as a disabled card until then.

Connect

Choose Connect next to the Google Calendar card, sign in with Google, and approve access. Slotted syncs the account's primary calendar immediately and shows "Google Calendar connected" with the connected email.

The card shows the connection's status — Connected, Syncing, Reconnect required (for example when Google access is revoked), or Sync error — plus the account and last sync time.

What syncs in

Busy events on the connected Google Calendar block that team member's availability in Slotted, so customers can't book them during a conflict. Slotted stays refreshed automatically, and Sync now forces an update on demand.

What syncs out

Slotted bookings appear as events on the Google Calendar, with the client and service in the event details. Creating, rescheduling, or cancelling a booking updates the event automatically.

  • Moved an event? If you drag a booking to a new time in Google and that time is free with the same duration, Slotted reschedules the booking to match. If the new time conflicts with something, the event snaps back to the correct Slotted time.
  • Deleted an event? Deleting the Google event never cancels or refunds a Slotted booking — changes to bookings happen in Slotted, where cancellation rules apply.

Disconnect

Choose Disconnect to remove the connection. Slotted warns you first: disconnecting removes synced busy times from Slotted immediately and stops future Google Calendar refreshes — bookings already in Slotted are untouched.
